The CTSW is designed to meet the most exacting standards of 450kg BCAR Section S Microlight certification, one of the worlds most exacting requirements offering performance until now not possible in this category.
P&M aviation holds the prestigious UK Civil Aviation Authority A1 Manufacturing approval.
Powered by the word-renowned Rotax 912s four stroke engine, making flights deep into the European Continent a real possibility. With one person on board as much as 800 miles could be covered without refuelling. With this realisation the CTSW can out-perform many GA and kit aircraft.
The level of comfort that the CTSW has to offer is second to none with two large gull wing doors and adjustable bucket seats, accommodating the tallest and broadest of pilot and passenger, with the added luxury of cockpit heating and ventilation.
A very high level of flight instrumentation is by a Brauniger Flugelectronic liquid crystal display panel, together with two power sockets for Radio and GPS.
The Floor of the cockpit accommodates two stowage lockers plus two chart pockets under the cockpit panel. For the overnight bags there are two additional lockers behind the seats in the main fuselage.
The new CTSW
The construction of the CTSW is chiefly of carbon fibre, one of the strongest materials known to man, and used extensively for strength and safety in motor sport.
With a high wing and excellent panoramic visibility, the view over the nose offers the perfect window.
The wings can be removed in a short time for storage or transportation.
CTSW can be trailed on a light trailer within legal limitations.
